Integrative Psychotherapy and Counselling for individuals in Farringdon, Reading and online.

I’m a BACP accredited counsellor, working in Private Practice here in Farringdon, as well as in Reading, Berkshire, and online via zoom. I also work as a counsellor for a small low cost counselling charity in East London. I have a special interest in anxiety and self esteem and often work with clients who want to work on their relationships with others or their relationship to themselves.

As an Integrative Counsellor, I draw on a number of therapeutic approaches so that we can find a way of working that best fits you. I’m humanist and relational in my approach, meaning that I see you as a person, rather than a problem to be solved or treated. I aim for us build a relationship where we can think together about what you’re experiencing, about your life and your story, and what you might want in terms of growth or change.

I tend to see early life and past experience as an important factor in who and how we’ve come to be, but whether and how we explore this will be up to you. I also hold in mind the role of the body and nervous system in what we experience. When in distress, it can feel that our minds and bodies are working against us. Getting to know our own processes can create space for new ways of responding as well as putting us in touch with ourselves selves, allowing us to live in a more fulfilled and authentic way.

I work in both a time limited and open ended way.
